Google is working on its new mid-range Google Pixel 3 Lite. The smartphone has already got leaked from Russian blog Rozetked showing us images of the supposed Google device “Sargo” dubbed the “Google Pixel 3 Lite”. The handset seems to be a toned down version of the Pixel 3 with tall screen and a headphone jack.
Google Pixel 3 Lite Camera Samples
Now, the same Russian blog has come up with the camera samples shot on the Pixel 3 Lite. Besides that, the history seems to be repeating itself. Just like the Pixel 3, the company is leaking the hardware before the official announcement. The images shown looks crisp, and it looks promising to us. We expect Google to put up the same Pixel 3 camera sensor on this midrange handset.
Interestingly, the dynamic range on the images also looks to be on par with the Pixel 3. The details on the picture with a poorly lit dining room give us a hint at the Night Sight mode. Also, the details prevail in the heavy overcast outdoor shots. Finally, the picture of the road and trees has a widescreen aspect ratio, which could mean it was a still taken from the 4K footage.
The camera configuration on the Pixel Lite also seems to be a 12MP main camera and an 8MP front camera. Above all, these numbers offer some striking resemblance to the camera numbers on the Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL. Also, the original post gives a comparison to the Pixel 3 XL, but the photo samples shows the images in different lighting condition, hence there’s not really a point of doing a comparison.
The reports also claim that the handset will retail for between $400 and $500.For now, we are not aware of the release and availability of this handset, and we’ll be keeping an eye out for more Pixel news.
