LG V40 ThinQ has been full of surprises, and in case you don’t know, the LG V40 ThinQ is now officially announced on the company’s website. We know that the LG flagships are always high on specs, but what about the OS on the LG V40 ThinQ? Well, the V40 ThinQ will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box instead of 9.0 Pie.

Now, I know that every one of us expects a new flagship towards the end of the year to arrive with the latest OS. But, the soar truth is that it never happens in the world of Androids.

Geekbench listing shows the LG V40 ThinQ with Android 8.1 Oreo

While LG didn’t confirm the spec sheet for the V40 ThinQ on their website, Geekbench confirms the major ones. The score sheet confirms a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
