Samsung Galaxy S10 will have a lite, vanilla, plus and two 5G variants

Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy S10 series of flagship smartphones on February 20.

. The new flagship series from Samsung may include more than two smartphones in the Galaxy Family. Right now, we expect Samsung to unveil as many as five variants of the Galaxy S10. The series will include the usual vanilla variant along with plus models, Live models, and the 5G variants.

We can expect the Galaxy S10 Lite to come with a flat AMOLED display panel. Well, this will be a regular display with 18:9 aspect ratio. With that said, the handset will not feature the Infinity-O screen.

Interestingly, there will be two 5G models of the Galaxy S10. One of the variants will be the Beyond X (Galaxy 10 5G) that will launch globally, while the Beyond Bolt (Galaxy S10 Bolt) will be a Verizon-exclusive. The Bolt version of the handset will boast a larger battery. We think that the large battery may compensate for the power-hungry 5G modem.

The Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10 Lite will go for pre-orders on the day on unveiling. The first batch will begin its shipments on March 18.
