If you are like one of us and your entire day involves sorting through a ton of tabs, then Google is working on a new feature to make your work a bit easier. Well, this new feature on Chrome browser will let you organize your tabs. And, bundle multiple tabs in a separate group.

Chrome Will Soon Let You Organize Tabs into Groups via Tab Groups feature

The upcoming feature on Chrome browser is still under development and Google calls it Tab groups. The feature will visually organize tabs, and it was first spotted in a code change request on the Chromium Gerrit.

Of late, developers found an associated bug and it read “Tab Groups – Organize tabs into visually distinct groups, e.g. to separate tabs associated with different tasks.” Note that this feature is still in early stages of development. It may take months for the feature to appear via official channels. Also, the Tab Groups feature will first arrive on the Canary channel of Chrome’s Beta program. After testing the feature in beta it will see a wider rollout.
