Huawei is in real trouble for deploying 5G networks around the globe. A few days ago, UK reached out its allies asking for them to ban the use of 5G in their markets. Note that Australia, New Zealand, and the US has already banned the use of Huawei equipment for the deployment of 5G networks. Now, it seems that UK’s MI6 is responding to that request.
BT telecom is now removing the Huawei’s 3G and 4G equipment from key areas of its network. Well, the company is taking such steps because MI6 suspects the firm’s involvement with the Chinese government. All these things are taking place after Huawei’s CFO arrest in Vancouver, Canada. In case you don’t know, Huawei was breaching the trade embargo against Iran. All these things sound familiar with the ZTE case, and we know that how the things ended up with the company.
In case you don’t know, the company Huawei was founded by a former officer of the People’s Liberation Army. Well, this raises question over the company’s tie-up with the government. The company is yet to respond.
