BlackBerry KEY2 LE launched at Rs. 29,990 in India


Optiemus Infracom Ltd just unveiled the new BlackBerry KEY2 LE in India. Well, this is the light edition of the BlackBerry Key 2 and has been priced at Rs. 29,990 in India. The smartphone will be available starting October 12. And, you can use a ‘Notify Me’ button on Amazon India to receive a notification about the availability. This is a toned down variant of the BlackBerry Key 2 and comes with a mid-range hardware.

The BlackBerry KEY2 LE is a dual sim smartphone. The smartphone is built around a 4.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a display resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone comes with a mid-range Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with either 4GB of RAM. Further, the smartphone comes with64GB of internal storage, and the storage is expandable via a microSD card slot. The BlackBerry KEY2 LE packs a decent 3,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0. For biometrics, there is a fingerprint reader, but this is still integrated into the space bar like the KEY2. Further, the keys on this smartphone are not Touch sensitive, unlike the more premium offering on the regular KEY 2. Also, the smartphone comes with a polycarbonate (plastic) body instead of the metallic build found on the flagship.

The KEY2 LE comes with a dual camera setup on the rear. The primary camera is a 13MP shooter with a f/12.2 aperture, and the pairing sensor is a 5MP depth sensor. The Selfie shooter on this smartphone has to offer an 8MP camera with a fixed-focus sensor. Further, we have a portrait mode, HDR, 4K video recording at 30 fps and Private Capture.
