Apple’s Mac mini with new, and better internals is now official. Well, this is a mini desktop computer, and we didn’t see an update to Mac mini since long. The new Mac mini line-up now has the latest 8th-generation CPU’s, that are faster, and more reliable.

The enclosure on the new Mac mini remains the same as we’ve seen in the last generations. While external looks the same, everything inside the Mac Mini is new. Well, the new cooling systems make the systems worth it. Also, the enclosure is made of 100% recyclable aluminum, along with a new cool Space Gray finish.

Speaking of the configuration on the new Mac Mini, it comes along with 8th Generation quad-core Core i3 processors and goes up to six-core Core i7 chips running at 3.2 GHz/4.6 GHz. Also, Apple ensures that these are not the mobile processor. Further, Apple improves these new devices with 60% more powerful graphics.

Rest, the Mac Mini comes along with 64GB of 2,666 MHz SO-DIMM sticks. Also, the storage on this device starts at 128GB, and it goes up to 2TB. Note that the only available option for storage on the Mac Mini is the SSD. All of the new changes make up for 5x better performance than its predecessor.

Apple’s new Mac mini comes along with a significant improvement in terms of connectivity. Well, there exists a 10Gbps-capable Ethernet port, full-sized HDMI 2.0, 2x USB-A, and 4x Thunderbolt 3 connectors. The 3.5mm audio jack is there as well.

Interestingly, the Mac Mini comes along with Apple’s own T2 security chip on board. Well, this is the same chip we’ve got to see in the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.

The new Mac mini will be made available on November 7. Well, the pre-orders will start today. Rest, the base model of Mac Mini with Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage will set you back at $799. A full-blown version of the Mac Mini can go as high as $4,199.
