Of late, Oppo has been making some pleasing smartphone for the mobile industry. Oppo Find X was an innovative smartphone from the company, and now the company is trying even harder. Now, the company is trying to push some basic smartphones in the market with decent specifications and low price. One such smartphone that the company is working on will come along with Snapdragon 625 SoC. Some Geekbench result claims the handset to run on Android Oreo OS with Color OS on top of it.

The benchmarks reveal the single-core score of 855 and the multi-core performance boosts to 3244. The scores seem to be in-line with the Oppo R9s that has an identical SoC but didn’t come into real existence after the leaks. The processor has eight cores, all of them of the Cortex-A53 variety.

The model number PAEM00 is new, so there is no chance that it is the same device as the Oppo R9s. The smartphone will be on budget segment, and it will feature 4GB of RAM. Oppo’s approach for budget segment smartphone will turn out to be successful if the company brings the handset to the markets at some seriously competitive pricing. What do you think about this?
