The Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE is back into the game of smartphones. The company was once on the verge of bankruptcy. Today, the company announces its plans for 2019. The company will bring a 5G model of the new Axon and Blade series in the mid-half of the year 2019.
ZTE will start selling its 5G handsets by the H2 of 2019. Besides that, the company has already made a couple of tests on 5G that includes trials on calls, internet, browsing, and WeChat messages. The tests pass all the applicable scenarios with flying colors. The Chinese company ZTE is finally set to bring the technology with its 5G development.
The first 5G smartphone from the company will be the follow-up of the Axon 9 Pro. We expect the handset to arrive first at IFA 2019. The handset will power the SD 855 SoC. We expect improved cameras, AI, and ultra-low latency for VR/AR.
