Qualcomm made the Snapdragon 675 official last month. The specifications of this chipset are close to the Snapdragon 670 and 710, but it’s built on the 11nm process and not a 10nm process.
According to the score sheet, the new generation CPU cores from Qualcomm make all the difference and the Snapdragon 710 falls short in both tests.
To recall, the big improvements in the processor come with the Kryo 40 cores. Now, two of these cores have the new Cortex-A76 for performance that can reach up to 2GHz clock speeds. The remaining six cores on the chipset are for efficiency and are based on Cortex A55. Also, the ISP and the GPU on the chipset remains the same as in the Snapdragon 670, respectively Spectra 250 and Adreno 612.
The benchmarks of the unknown handset tell nothing much about the device. The device runs Android 9.0 Pie and has 4GB of RAM. The handset may go official soon.
