Although its developer conference was focused on the foldable phones of the future, Samsung announced the Android Pie for its 2018 flagships. The Android 9 Pie update for the Galaxy Note9, S9, and S9+ will arrive in January.

The open beta for Android Pie will arrive as soon as at the end of this month. The beta program will be available for US, South Korea, and Germany for this month. Later on, it will head to other European and Asian countries as well.

Interestingly, the new update will come along with One UI, so the journey of Samsung Experience UI comes to an end. Note that Samsung and Google have worked together to reinvent the user interface on Galaxy devices. Well, the whole idea of One UI excites us, and we will review the UI when available for download.
