Samsung Galaxy S10+ is today receiving its first software update

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is a remarkable piece of technology. The phone is just a few days old, and user in the Netherlands, Germany, UK, and France are already receiving an important update. The latest one from Samsung is getting some significant software fixes along with the ability to remap the Bixby button.

Above all, the latest software addresses the slow Camera application. The speed and accuracy of the under-display fingerprint reader gets an improvement as well. Right now, the new technology from Qualcomm doesn’t perform better than the current optical solution. We are excited to see how the future software updates will improve on the speed and accuracy of this technology in the Samsung flagships.

The most interesting part of the software update is the deeper integration of the Camera app with Instagram. With that said, the native camera app on Galaxy S10+ will now allow you to post the photographs directly to your Instagram. The same goes for sharing videos, as well.

The latest update from Samsung is still rolling out in phases. And, we expect the OTA to roll out soon in the other parts of the world.
