The Samsung Galaxy S10+ has taken a massive leap in its camera department. The phone tops the DxOMark scores with 109 scores. Even more, the scores match with the ones on the Mate 20 Pro and the P20 Pro. But, the selfie cameras are also a different story. The company leaves the Pixel 3 and Note 9 behind, by scoring 98 in the selfie test.
Even more interesting part of the test is that the individual photo and video score on the S10+’s camera are 114 and 98, respectively. With that said, these are the exact scores on the Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro’s camera. However, the Galaxy S10+ excels in the selfie department.
Speaking about the cameras itself, they offer wide dynamic range, admirable exposure levels, accurate color reproduction, and more. Above all, the bokeh on the phone is eye-pleasing, and one can compare it with the one created on the iPhone XS Max. Even more, the camera recording abilities are out of the world. The stabilization is the best on any camera. And, the HDR 10 recording in real time brings sufficient details to the video.
The DxOMark scores are valuable, but they may not represent the true potential of cameras. Honestly, the cameras on the Galaxy S10+ are truly capable, but how they compare to the Pixels and the iPhones is yet to see. Anyway, what do you think about the Galaxy S10+ cameras?
