The Redmi Note 7 was a successful launch by the brand Xiaomi, but the company has even more to reveal. Today, we’ve got some details on the Redmi Note 7 Pro. We expect the handset to arrive by February, and it will run on the all-new Snapdragon 675 SoC.
Anyways, the pieces of information come from the debris of Weibo revealing some key specs. Like the Redmi Note 7, the Pro variant will bear a 48MP camera sensor. The Redmi Note 7 comes with a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor. Well, this time there will be a Sony IMX 586 sensor, instead.
We’ve seen some early tests on the Snapdragon 675 SoC, and the scores are slightly more than the Snapdragon 710 SoC. Scores apart, the SD675 CPU couples a slower GPU, a less capable ISP, and is built on a more cost-effective 11nm manufacturing process.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro will get decent pricing for its specifications. We expect the price to fall in the CNY 1,399 – 1,499 range, which translates into around $205 to $220.
