Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 is now ready for next generation of Android flagships. And, we’ve already seen it running on the FlexPai. Today, we’ve got the Antutu Benchmark runs from the chipset. It gives us an early peek at the performance on the upcoming Android flagships of 2019. The chip scored a whopping 362,292 overall points smashing the Kirin 980 (273,913) and overtaking Apple’s A12 Bionic (353,210) by a minute margin.

The Snapdragon 8150 chip is the second commercially available 7nm chipset available for Android now. Interestingly, the new reports claim that the chipset has a core setup that counts 1+3+4 instead of the usual 2+2+4. Well, this means that the Snapdragon 8150 chipset will have a single core for burst performance, three for sustained speed, and four little cores to handle the lighter tasks.

Reports say that the chipset will come along with the ARM’s new Cortex-A76 cores with clock speed up to 2.84 GHz. Along with this, there exist three medium ones that are again the Cortex-A76 with clock speeds of 2.4 GHz. Lastly, there exist four Cortex-A55 clusters of four cores ticks at 1.78 GHz. The die size on Snapdragon 8150 is going to be 12.4 x 12.4mm.

As per the GPU goes, it gets a 20% boost as well. The new scores on the GPU that will come along with Snapdragon 8150 count 156,328. All these things are rumors, and we have to wait for Qualcomm to arrive with the real product. The chipset will go official soon in December.
