Pocophone is finally rolling out the stable version of MIUI 10 v10.2.2.0 on the Pocophone F1. The latest build has significant camera improvements, and it includes the super slo-mo video recording and a special night mode for the stills.
The new update adds 960fps super slo-mo in the default camera app of the smartphone. Earlier we had 1080p @ 120fps and 720p @ 120fps options with the prior builds. The Night mode on the camera works similar to the one on the Mi Mix 3. It takes adorable photographs in low-light conditions. Well, the night mode stitches 8 photos with different exposure levels. The end results are the photographs with less noise and better exposure. We are yet to see how well it works in real life.
Sadly, the update doesn’t include 4K 60fps video recording feature. We can expect the update to arrive in the February update. The OTA update on the Pocophone F1 weighs around 311MB and bumps up the security patch to December 2018.
