OnePlus is fast at delivering updates to its flagships. While we’ve already got the OnePlus 6/6T, the company has not forgotten the older OnePlus 5/5T flagships. Some OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T users have just started beta testing Hydrogen OS 9.0, the software used in China.

The Android Pie update on the OnePlus 5T comes along with the new UI along with full-screen touch gestures. The noticeable difference comes to the caller ID of the phone app. The new app allows you to set a default SIM for dialing a given contact or group. Also, the way you handle the background apps is now revamped to deliver you a smoother experience.

Looking at the updates on the OnePlus 6, we expect the final update on the OnePlus 5 and 5T to arrive by the end of the year.
