Nokia 7 Plus is finally getting the Android Pie Update

The Nokia 7 Plus is the first smartphone from Nokia to get Android one support out of the box. Last month HMD Global executives Promised to deliver the final build of Android Pie update soon. We were hoping the update hit the smartphone in the first week of September, but there were some certification issues. Now today, the update has finally begun its rollout.

The Android Pie on Nokia 7 Plus brings a lot of new features to the smartphones. These features include Do Not Disturb Mode and Digital Wellbeing Dashboard. With Android Pie, the Nokia 7 Plus also has some additional features like Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness and the new navigation button/tic-tac settings. The updates arrive in the form of OTA and weigh over 1400 MB in size. The update will soon be hitting Nokia 7 plus phones all over the world.

Note that the Nokia Plus already has a great battery life, and this will improve more with the optimizations Android Pie brings along. Lastly, the update brings the monthly security patches and has minor improvements here and there.
