Xiaom wants to put Samsung in trouble, and for that, the company is launching the flagship Mi 9 on the same date. Well, the company will bring the flagship Xiaomi phone on February 20. Today, Co-owner of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, posted a teaser on its official Weibo account. The teaser reveals the Mi 9 with triple rear cameras and launch date of February 20.
The Mi 9 will be a flagship phone, and we expect a Snapdragon 855 inside. We have seen the Mi 9 in leaked benchmarks by the Cepheus codename. The teaser shows Roy Wang from TFBoys holding the Mi 9.
The Gizmo shows a triple camera on the rear in a vertical arrangement on the right. The camera on the top will have a color accent that will match the aesthetics of the phone. There is also an LED light, and it sits at the bottom of the triple rear cameras. The volume rocker and power keys sit on the right-hand side of the phone. The left-hand side in comparison shows a button for smart assistant Xiaoai. In markets outside China, the key will deliver Google Assistance functionality.
Rumors say that the Mi 9 will deliver a 27W fast charging if the listing from 3C is correct. The phone will deliver the X24 modem, instead of the X50 offers. Anyways, we expect the entry level variant with 6/128GB of internal storage to start at CNY2,999 or $436/€383. What do you think about the Mi 9? Would you ditch Galaxy S10 for Mi 9?
