Meizu Note 8 is now official. Well, the smartphone offers a similar experience to the Meizu X8 at an affordable price. The handset shares the same cameras as we’ve seen in the Meizu X8, and has a slightly larger battery. The Meizu Note 8 has a slightly lower price tag, and the handset sets you back at CNY 1,300 ($185/€165). Also, the handset will start selling on November 1, in China.
Unlike the 2018 smartphones, the Meizu M8 comes with a metallic shell in four different colors. The Meizu M8 is a Dual-SIM smartphone. It has a massive 6-inches FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The brightness on the screen can go up to 450 nits and the handset has 1,500:1 contrast ratio. The handset runs on Snapdragon 632 Chipset with four Cortex-A73 based cores and four A53 ones, plus an Adreno 506 GPU. Further, the handset comes in 4GB/64GB variant only and runs on Flyme OS on top of Android Oreo.
For the optics, there is a dual camera setup on the back. Well, the primary camera is a 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor with large 1.4µm pixels and Dual Pixel AF. The sensor has an aperture size of f/1.9. Also, there is a 5MP depth sensor present for taking Bokeh shots. The Meizu Note 8 boasts an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with face recognition support. You can always make use of the fingerprint scanner on the back of the handset.
Rest, the Meizu Note 8 has a massive 3,600 mAh battery along with 18W fast charging. Unfortunately, there is not USB Type-C port, but the headphone jack prevails.
The Meizu Note 8 is now available for pre-orders in China. Also, the handset will start shipping the next month.
