The LG V40 ThinQ will go official on October 3. While we are eagerly waiting for this smartphone, we got some interesting leaks of this upcoming handset with five cameras in total. Now, before getting deep, let us recall the CAD renders we got to see a month ago. The renders suggested that the V40 will come with a notch and triple cameras on the back.
Now, comes the new leaks from prolific leakster Evan Blass. The image gives us a good look at the world’s first smartphone to come with a total of five camera sensors. The idea of five camera sensors rips off Huawei’s implementation of four cameras on Huawei P20 Pro. The LG V40 ThinQ will offer a dual-lens shooter on the front paired with a triple camera lens system on the back.
The leaks show an extra button on the Aluminum frame, which will most probably be for Google’s Assistant. Now, we’ve seen this setup on LG G7 ThinQ, and the LG V40 ThinQ will be all about AI. The images show a hidden notch, that is largely hidden by a blacked-out status bar and a chin on the bottom.
The LG V40 ThinQ will launch soon with a Snapdragon 845 processor, a Quad DAC, and a fingerprint scanner on the back. Do you like the idea of hiding the notch on Android phones? Do let us know in the comments section below.
