Apple iPhone 2018 Trio series is around the corner, and this week is all about iPhone rumors. Earlier this week we’ve to go to see the naming and renders of upcoming high-end iPhones. Last week, 9to5mac said that the new 5.8-inches model will be called as iPhone Xs. They even claimed that the larger 6.5-inches iPhone is likely to be called as iPhone Xs Plus. Now, the site learns to say that Apple will likely use “iPhone Xs Max” as the marketing name for the larger version of the new models.

The name suggests that the iPhone Xs and the iPhone Xs Max are nearly identical to each other. The iPhone Xs Max will just be a Maxed out version of the smaller iPhone. Despite the name change, you should think of the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max as very close siblings, like the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Both, these iPhones will share the same processors, same cameras, and same build materials.

These leaks further compel us to believe that the 6.1-inch model will use cheaper alternatives. Apple will use an LCD screen and aluminum frame, which are there to keep costs down. An unnamed source calls this new model as iPhone XR, though we are sure that this won’t be the name of 6.1-inches model.
