Huawei Mate 20 Pro got official in October. It came with a ridiculously fast 40W SuperCharge protocol that can charge the 4,200 mAh cell in just 60 minutes from 0 to 100%. The cost of production for the technology was a bar for the technology to visit the other smartphones that are manufactured by the company. The company may have a solution for a comparative charging at high speeds with 20W SCP.
Today, we’ve got to see a document that shows the 20W SCP technology in works. In short, it means that the company is working on to deploy 20W fast charging for the standard smartphones from the company. The 20W charging will use half the amperage that the SCP Gen 2 deploys. That means, instead of charging at 10V/4A, the new SCP can charge at 10V/2A. A similar setup will soon come to the Honor and Huawei smartphones ranging from the mid-range devices to the flagships.
We expect the technology to arrive with the Huawei P30 in 2019. The company may use the 20W SCP with the light edition of the P30. that means the Huawei P30 Pro will settle with a 40W fast charging instead.
