Huawei’s P20 Pro was a massive success from the company. We know that the P30 and P30 Pro are not far away. The fresh leaks suggest that Huawei might feature OLED display, instead of keeping the non-Pro on LCD.
The Huawei P30 won’t be a slouch performer, and it will make use of in-display fingerprint reader. With that said, it might be the reason for the company to switch to OLED on the non-pro model. The Huawei P30 will feature a teardrop notch on the front, and there will be no 3D face scanner.
Anyways, the Huawei P30 CAD-based renders show a 6.1″ smartphone with an OLED panel. The phone will be power a Kirin 980 chipset with 8GB of RAM on the base model and 12GB on the Pro. The Pro variant will get a 6.1″ OLED screen in comparison.
The optics on the Huawei P30 are impressive, as well. We may see a triple camera setup on the back with a central Sony IMX600 module. The P30 Pro, on the other hand, will include a periscope module for a high optical zoom. There will exist a new 6-series 38MP IMX607 Sony sensor for obtaining periscope arrangement.
Sadly, the handset will get 22.5W charging, instead of the 40W charging of the Mate 20 Pro. The Huawei P30 will get a headphone jack too.
