Honor is about to launch a new smartphone in China. Today, we’ve got a teaser of the upcoming Honor 8A on its Weibo account. The handset will go official on January 8, and the handset will get some decent specifications.
The images reveal that 64GB of onboard storage, a teardrop notch display, and an octa-core CPU.

Interestingly, the Honor 8A is the same smartphone that got TENAA certification last month. With that said, the model numbers JAT-AL00, JAT-TL00, and JAT-L29 relates to the Honor 8A itself.

Speaking of the specifications on the handset, it will have a 6.088-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a teardrop notch. Under the hood is a 2.3GHz octa-core chipset along with 3GB of RAM. The handset will get available in either 32GB or 64GB of ROM. For optics, the Honor 8A will bear a 13MP primary camera, while there is an 8MP selfie shooter at front. The handset will feature EMUI on top on top of Android 9 Pie.
