Google is ramping up its production for amazing new devices for this year. Google Pixel 4 is miles away from its ultimate production, but the recent leaks give us a look at the benchmarks of a mysterious entry known as Google coral. Well, this is not the first that Google coral appears on Geekbench.
The recent leaks show the device running on Snapdragon 855 SoC along with 6 GB RAM and Android Q. The phone could be an Alpha unit of Pixel 4, but it is more likely to be a new Chromebook. The Google Coral code appears more than 150 times in the benchmark database with different chipsets, that makes us believe that its a Chromebook, instead.
Anyways, we can still study the benchmarks and performance on the Snapdragon 855 SoC Android Q on top of it. The single-core thread scores 3,296, while for multiple cores it is 9,235. With that said, the scores are about 10% more efficient than the ones on the Pixel 3 with Snapdragon 845 oC.
What do you think about the performance on Snapdragon 855 SoC? Do you believe that these scores are legit? Do let us know in the comments section below.
