Google Chrome OS 69 released with a new Material Theme design and Linux support


Google Chrome web browser got a major overhaul this month. Now, this new overhaul with a new Material Theme design has come to the Chromebooks. This new redesign will deliver some nifty features like instant search result info in the Omnibox address bar for weather, sports, and other Search card items. Now, Chrome on Linux shows into Google’s stable channel. Now, the developer’s on Linux can run apps and tools within a terminal window.

Besides, this new version of  Google Chrome OS 69 now has a Night Light mode that is Google’s version of f.lux and Apple Night Shift. In order to prevent your eyes from the blue light, this new Mode increases the color warmth of the display. This is timed to a distinct schedule or sunrise and sunset. One more useful feature in this new update is the new microphone button in the Chrome OS status bar. This will be useful while accessing the voice dictation.
