The all-new Asus Zenfone Max M2 and the Pro M2 are the two new midrange smartphones from the company Asus. The handsets will go official on December 11 in India. Now, prior to the Indian release, both of these handsets get listed on the company’s Russian website. Moreover, you can purchase the vanilla Max (M2) right now for RUB 12,990 ($195). The mightier Max Pro (M2) is RUB 17,990 (about $270) and is up for pre-order.
Asus Zenfone Max M2…
Like all other smartphones in the market, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M2)and the vanilla Max (M2) carries a notched screen. The screen on the Asus Zenfone Max M2 measures at 6.3” diagonally. The 1520×720 resolution on the handset will be covered by Gorilla Glass protection on top of it. This is a significant step up from the last iteration.
The vanilla Max (M2) version of the lineup runs on Snapdragon 636. Also, the handset comes in with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage that’s expandable through a dedicated microSD slot. The Max M2 is a dual SIM smartphone and it has a massive 4,000 mAh of battery.
For optics on the Zenfone Max M2, we have got a dual camera setup on the back. Well, its an 8 MP + 2 MP dual camera system on the rear, while the selfie shooter on the front is a 13 MP selfie shooter.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2…
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is the mightier of the bunch. It comes in with a modern glass and metal sandwich design. The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC, and it has a 4/64 GB base memory. The 6.3″ LCD panel on the handset has 2280×1080 resolution, and it has a Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top of it. This is a significant step up from the last iteration.
Speaking of the optics, the handset comes with a 12 MP + 5 MP main camera setup, while the selfie shooter is 13 MP with AI capabilities.
One third-party retailer in Russia also has a 4/64GB version of the non-Pro up for grabs, as well as a 4/128GB iteration of the Pro.
