Apple launched the iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XS on Friday. Besides that, the first-weekend sales reports for the new iPhones have already started pouring in. Now, according to a famous Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Max is outselling the regular XS “three to four times”.
According to Kuo, the 256 GB storage option for the new iPhone XS max is the most popular option out there. Now, note one thing, the 512GB iPhone XS is consistently out of stock. The main reason for this is that currently, only Samsung is shipping NAND Flash chips for the phones and some shortages are occurring. One more thing to notice about these new iPhones is the about the color options. It seems that the Gold and Space Gray colors are “significantly more popular than the silver”.
Now, Kuo also made his statements about the new Apple Watch Series 4. According to him, the demand is much better than Apple was expecting. The production for these new watches is going at full capacity, but still, the delivery waiting period will not shorten until November. After November, a second supplier Compal will join the process right in time for holiday season. This will help Apple in maintaining the supplies for their Watch Series 4. Predictions say that Apple will ship nearly 19.5 million Apple watches is 2018. The numbers are fairly up from 18 million Mark that Apple achieved in 2017.
