Of late, Apple is expanding its market of extending its services around the world. The smartphones are already at its peak point and looking at the tech giants focusing on the services is the way to go. Today, AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support joins the upcoming TV’s from LG, Sony, and Vizio.
LG TV’s with AirPlay 2
LG will introduce the AirPlay 2 on its 2019 series of TV’s that the company announced at CES. The series includes LG OLED, LG NanoCell SM9X series, LG NanoCell SM8X series, and LG UHD UM7X series. LG will embark the sales of these premium flagship OLED Televisions by the end of this year.
Sony TV’s with AirPlay 2
Sony will soon bring the AirPlay 2 its 2019 series of televisions that run on the Android TV platform. The series will include the Z9G series, A9G series, and X850G series. Sony will commence the sales by the end of this year.
Vizio TV’s with AirPlay 2
Vizio has the most extensive range of models that will support the AirPlay 2. The list includes the P-Series Quantum series from 2018 and 2019. Meanwhile, the Vizion P-Series, M-Series, E-Series, and D-Series will get support on 2019, 2018, and even the 2017 models.
The AirPlay 2 support will enable the users on macOS and iOS to stream the content from their device on big screens. One can stream videos, music, photos from its device by screen mirroring. The HomeKit allows you to control the TV with the Home app on iOS. One can even control the TV with Siri.
Samsung is the first television manufacturer to add support for AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. Above all, Samsung is the only manufacturer that will get the support for iTunes Movies and TV Shows app, which will also let users purchase or rent movies and TV shows from the iTunes store or view content from their existing library.
Apple is excited about the tie-up, and the company lists all the available models on its website that supports the Airplay 2. The future is here!
